Joinery Softwoods was formed in June 1986 by Norman and Carole Owers. With over 50 years experience in the Timber Trade, we realised a ‘niche’ in the market place for a specialist timber supplier.

Our aim is to offer top grade joinery timber to joinery manufacturers and over the past 25 years we have achieved a reputation for the quality of our timber, of which 95% is of Scandinavian origin from secure and environmentally responsible producers. Through our practical experience of joinery timber we can offer advice on grades of softwood that will meet the exacting requirements of our customers needs. To enhance our ability to offer joinery grade timbers we also stock Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir (Columbian Pine) Sapele and Idigbo, as well as laminated timber for door sections.

We hold Chain of Custody Certificates for both FSC & PEFC which ensures our timber is from environmentally secure suppliers.
